Do you ever sit in front of your computer screen and ask yourself – “how the hell am I supposed to get paying coaching clients???”
“Does it really have to be this hard?”
Do you ever wonder if you’re just wasting time?
Do you wish you could spend more time doing the job you actually set to do in the first place? The job you were trained and certified to do- Helping people…?
Are you uncertain what next steps to take – especially when it comes to marketing?
Do you often wish you could just attract the clients to you?
I know how this feels…
Here’s an intro to my story…
I was in the same place with my business, some years ago, having no clue what I was supposed to do first. Spending 90% of my time trying to do things that weren’t even my business- trying to figure out how to market myself and get clients.
I was spending almost no time actually doing what my business was!
I loved working with people. And helping people reach their goals was essentially what I wanted to do.
But I considered myself “stuck” when it came to attracting clients.
I did what everyone suggested – I tried posting on social media, linkedin, blogging, networking on groups, writing newsletters.
I spent tens of thousands of dollars on digital and print advertising.
Sure – I was gaining some traction doing all these things, but it still wasn’t really paying off. I still didn’t have much to show for my efforts and I still felt like I was doing almost 100% something else other than my business (and what I actually wanted to do). I felt like I was just shooting in the dark.
I started feeling frustrated, wondering if I should just throw in the towel (more than once!)
It wasn’t until I learned and mastered the core principles, principles that would attract the exact people I wanted to work with, the ones who were looking for the exact solution I was presenting.
The moment I starting putting into action these methods/strategies. It was at this moment that things finally started to make sense.
It wasn’t just about making posts on social media, blogging, writing newsletters, or any of these things.
There’s so much more to it than that.
When I put these methods and principles into action, and developing these as part of a system. It all started to click.
In the next years that ensued, and having put this system into action, I no longer had to do much of anything to attract clients. They were coming to me on their own.
I finally felt like I was actually doing my business, helping people, and getting paid for it!
Over the last years I’ve dedicated myself to learning as much as I could, compiling, organizing, and putting together these principles and methods.
This system, when put into action, attracts the right coaching clients and motivates them to work with you, using tools you’ve probably already been using and have available.
I’ve got so much more to share about this, and what I’ve mentioned here just barely touches the surface. In fact, to put it into one blog post (well that would be one blog post too long!)
